I want to share my experience using myomlab™. I can honestly say it has revitalized and vastly improved my teaching, evaluations, and student success in my Operations Management courses.
Here are just a few reasons why:
- myomlab allows me to assign homework and quizzes right out of the text, but online – and with the option of each student getting his or her own data.
- Assignments are graded the second the students hit the Submit button. Students love the immediate feedback; you will love that the grades automatically appear in your grade book.
- myomlab makes it simple to allow a second chance on homework, so a student can redo all the problems (with different data, of course) in an attempt to improve his or her score. Almost every student who doesn’t get 100% the first time tries to improve their score.
- I can now assign more homework and give more quizzes. Each assignment takes only about 5 minutes to set up.
- I also give pre-class quizzes each week, using multiple choice questions from our book’s testbank, which is also built into myomlab. Students now read each chapter before class and this makes a huge difference in participation.
- Most importantly, learning has been enhanced, and on average, grades have gone up about one whole GPA point!
